Let's start planning an amazing Party!
Book your party with 4 easy steps:
1. Read this page, and our rules on our Fun Activities page.
2. Email us email@example.com with:
a. Preferred Date of party?
b. Preferred Time of party? You will get a private room for 2 full hours PLUS you and your party guests will have all day access (no time limits) to the DINOSAUR MUSEUM and ACTIVITY CENTER. It is so much fun for everyone!
c. How many guests you plan on having (Minimum $330.00 - up to 15 children and 15 adults)? See packages below.
NOTE: The credit card used to pay for your party online must be in the name of the person who is hosting the party. If you wish to have someone else pay for your party please let us know so we can make other arrangements for your party payment.
3. We will respond if date and times are available, or an alternative if not.
4. Once we have responded with an approved date and time, we will send you a link to pay the $100.00 non-refundable deposit.
5. Once your deposit is received you will need to pay for your party in full within 7 days of your party date. The party room is not guaranteed until full payment is received for all of your invited guests per the packages below.
Please allow 48 hours to respond to your email. We respond in the order emails are received.
Most of our exhibit can be seen from the store if you want to come take a look. A ticket is not required to visit our store, however, if you want to go inside the exhibit, please plan on purchasing a ticket.
We have party areas that will accommodate approximately 20-150 people as described below. You will have a private party room, however the exhibit and activity areas remain open to the public.

All party rooms are assigned the day prior to your party based on the guests counts for all that day's parties.
There is a non-refundable deposit due of $100.00 prior to our blocking out the date and time for you. This fee must be paid on-line. The deposit will be refunded after you have left the party area clean and on time.

Saturdays: 10 am to 12 pm, 1 pm to 3 pm, 4 pm to 6 pm
Sundays: 11 am to 1 pm, 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, 4 pm to 6 pm

Once we have received your non-refundable deposit you will need to pay for your party in full within 7 days of your party. Your party is not guaranteed until full payment has been received.
Pay at the door guests pay regular admission rates and will be required to wait in the public entrance line. There are no discounts (senior, military offered for parties). This is the party admission rate and includes all day access to the exhibit and activity center. At least one Parent/Guardian (paid admission) must accompany their child to the party. We do not allow drop offs. Your guests may come early provided party is paid in full, and may stay until closing. We allow in and out privileges too!
In addition to the admission, there is a one-time $30 use fee, which is included in the above packages.
If you would like to purchase our dinosaur tote bags for your guests shoes, etc. they are $2 each plus tax with a minimum of 10 bags. These bags do not include any freebies that full-priced general admission guests may receive.
2 hour Private Party Room time includes your set-up and clean-up. Please do not arrive early. We do not have any area to store your belongings. They must go directly into your party room at your beginning designated time. We also do not have cold storage for food, cake or ice cream.
It is important to all our parties that the party room is exited on time. If you are late leaving the party room your deposit will be forfeited.
At the conclusion of your event all food and beverages need to be removed from Wonder of Dinosaurs, and are not allowed on the museum or activity floor.
Please bring a guest list on the day of your party including last and first name of guests.
For Redondo Beach, it is best to park on level P4 in the parking garage and enter the third floor mall doors. When you enter you will head North (left). This is the easiest location to bring in your supplies, food, etc.
The Party Admission Package does not include any food, drinks, cake or decorations.
You may bring:
DRINKS: Water, juice and soft drinks. No alcohol is permitted. No glass. You can bring a metal or plastic ice chest (no styrofoam ice chests) provided it does not leak.
FOOD: All food needs to be prepared food, such as pizza or sandwiches. We do not allow lit warmers and electricity is not available.
DECORATIONS AND TABLEWARE: SOUTH BAY GALLERIA does not allow balloons. You will need to bring tableware for your guests. Decorations are allowed and banners can be clear-taped to walls (no pins/tacks/staples). No gum, pinata's, confetti or silly string is allowed.We have dinosaur themed vinyl table covers on all of the tables you are welcome to use or you may bring your own.
No food or drink (other than water) is allowed outside of the party area.
We do not provide a hostess/host. If you need one we could provide a hostess/host for an additional fee of $100.00.
No music is allowed in the party rooms.
